đź’ĄWhat are we looking for?
Embat is committed to becoming a leading Pan-European embedded finance player, and the UK region is crucial to achieving this goal. With its robust economy and significant potential in the underserved mid-market segment, the UK, along with DACH, has the potential to become one of Embat's most important markets in the near term.
The Director of Sales, UK will play a pivotal role in driving this expansion, with primary responsibility for achieving new business revenue targets and spearheading the region’s growth. This includes acquiring high-value clients and boosting annual recurring revenue (ARR). Reporting directly to Antonio Berga, Embat's co-founder, this role will be instrumental in executing the company’s global strategy, building and leading a dedicated team, prioritizing key market opportunities, and serving as the face of Embat in the region.
This position offers a unique opportunity for significant career growth within Embat. While it does not initially include a VP title, the direct reporting line to the co-CEO opens the door for potential promotion to VP of EMEA as the company continues to scale its leadership team.
The Director of Sales will be key to establishing Embat's presence in the English market, with the opportunity to expand their influence across Europe as Embat grows its footprint.
The ideal Sales Director for the UK region recognizes the tremendous potential of Embat and is deeply committed to the vision of transforming the Treasury management market. With a strong track record in high-growth environments, particularly in SaaS or FinTech, they bring extensive experience in developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, with a focus on both Mittelstand and Enterprise clients in the UK region.
This candidate has a proven ability to successfully launch and scale businesses in the UK market. They possess exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate their team to achieve ambitious goals.
