We are looking for a SAP S/4HANA Product Owner, who will be the product reference for all of Embat's SAP integrations. This isn't a role where you leave the SAP world behind — quite the opposite. You'll remain deeply embedded in that ecosystem, but with a product, client, and impact-driven mindset.

The role has three critical dimensions:

• Product Owner: ability to identify problems, prioritize them, and define solutions with real client impact.

• Functional Consultant: deep knowledge of the SAP ecosystem, its modules, and what solutions are technically and functionally viable.

• Project Manager: coordination of multiple external teams working in parallel, managing timelines and driving implementations from start to finish.
  

We currently manage integrations with SAP Business One, SAP Business by Design, and SAP S/4HANA (including cloud versions: Public and Private Edition). We're looking for someone whose strong background is in S/4HANA — the SAP flagship and the environment where the largest companies operate.

💥What will you do?

Product Management

• Be the product reference for all SAP integrations: Business One, Business by Design, S/4HANA and its cloud editions.

• Identify problems, define requirements, and prioritize the roadmap for each ERP connector.

• Collaborate closely with external development partners to keep technical and business specifications aligned at all times.

• Manage the full lifecycle of each connector: development, deployment, feature updates, and continuous optimization.

Client Support & Incident Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical support related to the ERP connectors.

• Analyze and resolve client-reported incidents, identifying root causes and escalating where necessary.

• Work alongside the Customer Success team to ensure an outstanding client experience.

Requirements & Project Coordination

• Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and clients, translating them into clear project specifications.

• Coordinate multiple external teams working simultaneously, ensuring fluid communication, deadline compliance, and quality deliverables.

• Lead the testing and integration process for new connector developments.

Pre & Post-Sales Support

• Provide technical expertise during demos and commercial proposals related to SAP connectors.

• Support client onboarding to ensure a smooth and successful connector implementation.
  

Objectives

• 3 months: Become the technical and product reference for all SAP integrations at Embat, with full command of each connector and its current state.

• 6 months: Reduce operational friction in external partner projects through clear processes and structured communication. Define and start tracking success metrics for each ERP connector.

• 12 months: Contribute to building Embat's internal IP in SAP integrations, drive continuous improvements based on data, and become a key reference for pre-sales and client onboarding in the SAP space.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in the SAP ecosystem, ideally in S/4HANA environments.

• Functional knowledge of SAP finance, accounting, and/or treasury modules (SAP FI, SAP TR / FICO).

• Experience or familiarity with SAP integration tools: SAP PI, SAP PO or SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).

• Ability to manage projects with multiple external teams simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills to engage with both technical profiles and business stakeholders.

• Product mindset: ability to prioritize, make decisions, and generate impact beyond technical execution.

• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.

• Based in Madrid, open to a hybrid working arrangement.

We'd also love it if you bring:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related technical field.

• Experience with SAP Business One or SAP Business by Design.

• Knowledge of REST APIs.

• Technical background with SAP development capabilities.
