Founded in Spain in 2021, we’re now a team of 120+ people across Europe, backed by Creandum (Spotify, Klarna) with a €15M Series A. The UK is our next major market, and we’re looking for someone to help us establish our presence here.

You’ll join a diverse group of nationalities and backgrounds, united by a genuine passion for transforming finance. You’ll also work alongside founders who spent over a decade in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan before building Embat.

🎯 The Objective

This isn’t a “maintenance” role. We aren't looking for someone to simply oversee a portfolio of stable clients.

Your focus is Value Realisation. Once our Implementation team has completed the technical setup, you take the lead. You are the person moving UK finance teams from "we have a new tool" to "we cannot run our business without Embat."

You’ll articulate the Embat story to existing users: from initial curiosity to full-scale adoption. We’ll provide the product, the brand, and the vision; you bring the drive and the financial expertise to ensure Embat becomes the centre of our clients' finance operations.

⚡ What You’ll Do

  • Drive Product Adoption: Guide users through the post-onboarding journey, ensuring they transition away from legacy Excel habits to fully leverage our AI-driven features.

  • Consultative Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with CFOs and Treasurers, acting as their primary strategic point of contact.

  • Account Governance: You are the ultimate owner of the customer experience. While our CX team resolves technical tickets, you manage the communication and overall resolution of production issues for your accounts.

  • Client Advocacy: Represent the UK market internally—your insights into local finance workflows will directly influence our global product roadmap.

  • Monitor Health & Retention: Proactively track customer health metrics. You don’t wait for a client to raise a concern; you identify friction points and resolve them early.

  • Commercial Growth: Identify opportunities for expansion and ensure successful renewals by consistently demonstrating the commercial impact of the platform.

  • Represent Embat: Engage with clients and attend industry events to build trust and visibility within the London finance community.

We aren't just checking boxes; we are looking for high-calibre individuals with a commercial mindset.

  • Strong Accounting/Treasury Foundation: You understand the mechanics of a balance sheet and the logic of financial workflows. You have the technical "weight" to challenge a CFO.

  • The "Dynamic" Professional: You may have a background in the Big 4 (Audit/Advisory) or a similar professional services environment, but you’ve realised you want a more high-energy, client-facing role in Fintech.

  • Experience: You bring ~3+ years in a client-facing role—this could be in Customer Success, Account Management, or professional services where you managed senior stakeholders.

  • Bilingual Capability: You are native in English to lead the UK market.

  • Personal Accountability: You take pride in "owning" the client relationship. You are a calm, authoritative voice during production issues, driving internal teams toward a solution.

  • Clear Communicator: You can translate complex financial software into actionable business impact. You are engaging and persuasive without being "salesy."
